Millions of children and adults tell themselves or are told by others to stop procrastinating, start concentrating, sit still, finish what they started, and get organized. But what appears to be a matter of self-discipline is for many a neurological problem. Now two doctors reveal the impact precise diagnosis and treatment can have.

The 1st and BEST book that should be read when a diagnosis is received of childhood or adult ADD/ADHD . The authors make this important point: ADD/ADHD doesn't just magically disappear after childhood. As a followup to Driven to Distraction, I highly recommend Thom Hartmann's books on ADD/ADHD... especially "Attention Deficit Disorder: A Different Perception". Why doesn't this library include any of Thom Hartmann's books???

This was an excellent book for people who have wondered or been told that they may have ADD. The book is easy to read and made one feel that ADD is not a disease or a defect in the brain but just a different way of seeing things. I throroughly enjoyed it!
